I was somewhat apprehensive to learn that the cd had been reviewed by the Other Paper, which at times can be fairly vicious (I suspect they take it a little easier on local stuff).  But it ended up being a very kind review.  They did mention that we sound like something on Nick Jr., so maybe not that kind, but they qualify the statement later on.  I think it's great.  Read it here.

Although an album release on New Year's Eve was perhaps not the best idea from a media perspective, "new" seems to be in the air.  New CD, new drummer (welcome Randall Weber, II) and now a new website.  Right now the band has some work cut out for it.  Promoting the new CD takes some time, and we haven't booked a show until March (and a tribute show at that). The hiatus from the bar scene while we recorded might have been a good thing -- the band sounded better to my ears than it ever has before at the release party.  And it was louder - it was electric guitar -- it wasn't as subdued.  Maybe that makes sense going forward?  What the hell, it's 2010....
