Wanda Waterman-St. Louis, the "Mindful Bard" of Canada, mentioned our CD recently as something to revel in.  http://themindfulbard.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/whats-up-thursday-11-february-2010/

Her blog really is an amazing thing, it gives you the feel that art and music is something anyone can grasp in a few spare minutes here and there.

Which is about the only time we have, isn't it?

We continue to get a bunch of overseas airplay, which is starting to raise the question as to why there is so little independent radio at home?  A lot of the overseas shows are run by amateurs, including retirees, who take a spin at the DJ Booth once a week for a couple of hours at the local station. What a hoot that would be, eh?  The cynic in me thinks that they may be seeking out independent material to avoid royalty payments, but so what....god, how nice that would be to be able to flip on the radio and hear something new?

Closer to home, we're booking a bunch of shows in March and April, so stay tuned.

"A Man Without a Country" was the number one featured song for No Depression Magazine as of February 3, 2010 through February 6, 2010.  It was also featured as an Editor's Pick at Indie-Music.com on February 6, 2010.

Reilley has posted some of the show at VIC on youtube, I think it recorded pretty well and I could hear the fiddle! (Reilley has also been working way to hard,' don't hurt yourself now'.) After watching the show I realized I shouldn't wear my house sweater on stage, it's so comfy, but I don't like the way it looks. I should costume more, sparkles, dresses, lipstick.. what does everyone think? Also should Reilley, charlie, randall, chase and ian wear tuxedos? I know they would love that.. hmm, it's a thought. -tally-ho *JLo*
